The newest crop of geology students getting their first field experience. Students in Geology 200 are learning basic field techniques with a brunton and pace exercise, under the guidence of David Kimbrough and graudate student Jamie Purcell, while mapping the Lot D parking lot here on the SDSU campus.
GEOL 200 (Geologic Inquiry and Problem Solving) is a required course for all majors and minors in Geological Sciences. It provides the students with scientific thought process using real problems addressed by student research in field and laboratory. Includes written report and oral presentation.
