Dr. Samantha Bova was chosen as one of six lecturers for the 2021-2022 Ocean Discovery Lecture Series. This series has been around for over 20 years featuring distinguished lecturers presenting research on scientific results and discoveries of the International Ocean Discovery Program. Sam will present her research demonstrating that Earth’s global temperatures have reached unprecedented levels relative to the past 128,000 year in a talk entitled: Its getting hot in here: reinterpreted climate proxies alter understanding of interglacial warmth.
