Please join us on Wednesday, October 22, at 1 PM for a discussion of careers in Engineering Geology. The speakers are all SDSU graduates, with over 1 hundred years of combined experience since receiving their bachelor’s degrees, and at least one of them has graduated in every decade since the 1960’s! Each has had unique experiences in their careers as engineering geologists: from evaluating geologic hazards like landslides, liquefaction, and active faulting, infrastructure construction, to regulatory compliance with building codes (CBC) and Public Works construction (Greenbook). Each speaker will present a short history of their careers and activities as engineering geologists. |
